I’ve only lazily taken a train once in my life, but pictured above is what I envision my next ideal journey ensemble to consist of. Looking over my travel plans for the Summer (starting with DC with the boyfriend in a couple of days), I’ve been focusing more on what to pack. Normally, the night before, I’ll just throw in what’s simple and comfortable with a dressy ensemble or two whether I really need it or not. I also tend to pack as little as possible which usually leads to me inconveniently buying more stuff later on in the trip. Another issue for me is if I’m flying commercially, I fear that my luggage will be lost and I would not be a happy camper if favorite/expensive items were packed in my bags. However, I will not be worrying about such things this year. This time around, the private pilot boyfriend and his boss/friend will be flying us to DC. Followed by a road trip later to Virginia Beach and currently unknown means of transportation to Ohio for a wedding. One of these days, I’ll make it to Holland and/or Bora Bora. le sigh… Anyway, I’ve been getting a little carried away with putting together collages on Polyvore of random desired items that I would pack for my travels.
