Yes, I took a photo of an inspirational Tom & Jerry cartoon with my phone early one morning. You know, the old episode where Jerry & the cute little duck get a hold of some vanishing cream and make themselves invisible around Tom. If only “vanishing” cream worked so well in the real world. At least we have access to the next best thing. Philosophy’s Hope In A Jar and C.O. Bigelow’s Rose Wonder Cold Cream. Hope In A Jar, originally created for the medical market, deeply hydrates, reduces wrinkles and discoloration, smoothes your complexion, contains antioxidants and exfoliates. It also helps repair damage and supports your skin’s natural defense system. In a nutshell, this stuff keeps your skin healthy and looking young. Hence the name. The jar reads: “Where there is hope, there can be faith. Where there is faith, miracles can occur.” I have more faith in this cream than I have any other. The only downside is that it leaves my skin a tad on the oily side immediately after use. But that’s a small price to pay for the ending results. As for C.O. Bigelow’s Rose Wonder Cold Cream, I challenge anyone to find one more moisturizing. I wash my face quite often with Neutrogena’s Pink Grapefruit wash, which tends to over-dry. But, in my experience, no other face wash works as well or smells nearly as delicious. So, I’m sticking with it. Using a drying face wash calls for a trustworthy hydrating cream. Rose Wonder literally leaves your skin silky as ever and keeps it at bay. I noticed a huge difference just after a few uses. Applying a thin layer of it to your face and throat every night before bed and after every face wash does an exceptional job. I can even skip a couple of days without needing it, it’s so thorough. These two creams in addition to my previous raving about Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum, Neutrogena’s Pink Grapefruit face wash and Clean & Clear’s Advantage Spot Treatment complete my successful top 5 absolute must-have list of facial skin care products.
