Being sick in bed once again, I really had no choice but to gaze in awe at the beautiful gowns that graced the red carpet at last night’s Oscars. I adore the pastel shades that most starlets seemed to opt for this year. Zoe Saldana, my absolute favorite, looked stunning in her Givenchy gown. I fell in love the second I saw her step foot on the carpet with all the purple gracefully flowing behind her. Miley Cyrus also had one of the best dresses of the evening, in my opinion. The corset top, the sparkles, the mix of fabrics…even her hair. It’s no surprise that one of my favorite designers, Jenny Packham, did that dress. Rachel McAdams looked lovely, as usual, in Elie Saab. Jennifer Lopez went classic glam in Armani Prive. Anna Kendrick really pulled off a delicate Elie Saab number and Elizabeth Banks looked gorgeous in grey Versace. I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing cheaper versions of Zoe’s & Miley’s ensembles hitting stores for those of us who can’t afford the originals.
